We have been to key to escape several times and have always had an AMAZING TIME!! The owners and staff are absolutely amazing. Although we miss that you guys are currently closed, we THANK YOU for thinking of our safety first. I hope this means you are having lots of fun and time coming up with some great new rooms. Thank you for standing with black lives.... thank you for all of the support you have shown. Thank you for being the amazing people and establishment that you are. Simply thank you for being you. We look forward to seeing you guys and joining in on the fun once you reopen!!

We took our employees to Key to Escape this week. They all really enjoyed it. It was a fun experience and they worked really great together as a team. The host, Roberto, was fantastic. Both teams did the Redemption room, which was not too difficult to complete, but had them working hard together to solve the clues! This is a very professional, fun, and clean escape room!
We have done many escape rooms in North Carolina and out of state. NC Key to Escape It’s like no other escape venue you will ever go to! Puzzles And themes are original and the owners design and create/fabricate them along with the props and effects. Every single game master we have had there is friendly and helpful and helps make the game experience one that is top notch. Also the owners come across as genuinely nice people who are invested in their community. If you were thinking of doing this escape room do it! You may not make it out of the rooms because they are challenging (If you were a first timer don’t be afraid to use your hints), but I guarantee it you will have a great time and you will be wowed!
We have done many escape rooms in multiple different states and Key to Escape is undeniably the best one out there! The attention to detail as well as the quality of the rooms and props are second to none; as well as the amazing customer service! We are very impatiently waiting for the reopening and 100% understand the need to wait until it is safe to do so. Super fun place! High tech in an old historic building. Worth traveling to Statesville for and worth coming back. Non linear game design ensures everyone stays busy. It’s a terrific form of interactive entertainment, great cognitive fun and will keep your heart pounding and your mind racing. The staff is outstanding! Location very eye catching... and walking distance to many area restaurants.
