When we moved into a house in Madison we called one of Steinhardt's competitors to start-up our propane gas fireplace. They said something was wrong with it but couldn't figure out what it was. We then called Steinhardt and their man, Alex, immediately found the problem (dirt in the gas line), tested everything out and then took time to show us how the system works and how to maintain it. The next time we need heating or A/C service, we know who to call: Steinhardt.

Hands down my go to HVAC folks! Everyone here is knowledgeable, friendly and the service is A. The only hvac company I trust with my home needs! Plus the prices are fair and the maintenance agreement saves you money! So win win!

I had Steinhardt come to my home to repair my AC furnace. I was told 80 to diagnose. They charged 116.25 And didn’t repair anything. Then called me this morning with a cost of 1049.01 to order/purchase a motor and it was going to take 3-5 days to deliver. In this 95 degree weather. I found out that a company in Louisville has 7 of those motors in stock today. So I go personally to another electric company. And the owner replaced my motor at 1/3 the cost. 343.30 for the motor and labor. The OWNER!!!! That’s the kind of service you should receive. I would never recommend Steinhardt. I will never call them again! Bad service! Bad business! The cost is outrageous!!! DO NOT GO HERE FOR SERVICE!!!!!

We have had a maintenance agreement with Steinhardt Heating and Cooling for several years now. They are professional, friendly, prompt and knowledgeable. It gives us peace of mind to know that the safety and comfort of our home is being maintained by professionals. Eric Weatherbee has come the last couple of service calls and has done a nice job. The entire staff has met our approval.
