My purchase experience went well. I had a very helpful representative. I bought a table and sectional. My table started chipping almost right after I purchased it. It has a white finish. This is where everything went wrong. The customer service team has yet to resolve my problem and this is that I bought the protection plan imagine if I had not. I called them for the first time in November 2020 and it is now February 2021. Their response was that they have been busy and they don’t get notified of emails. I understand being busy but not careless . I did a lot of investigation before choosing Bassett and saw some bad reviews but I thought people were just being picky. I was wrong, please save your self the trouble and invest your money elsewhere . Terrible experience:(

We went in here to purchase a living room set. Our designer, Susan, was incredibly helpful with customization and listening to our needs. I can't wait for it to arrive in 12-14 weeks!
My girlfriend and I recently moved into the area and went to check out Bassett. When we went in, we were immediately greeted by Gia, who was outstanding! After helping other clients, she helped us pick out a sofa and area rug that would match our space perfectly. We weren't ready to buy that day, so we told her we would be back. About 2 months later we went back in on Labor Day weekend with some more pieces in mind. Again, Gia was incredibly helpful and efficient. We finished checking out with our living room furniture, and she asked if we were considering anything else - I replied and said we were looking at the Bella bedroom set. Gia immediately rushed us upstairs to show us a Bella dresser that was on clearance. There was a nightstand that was also on clearance, and it just made sense to complete the set then and there. Thru and thru, we walked out of there with everything we wanted, nothing more, nothing less. After getting home, we realized that what we bought might not fit on our wall (we were half an inch off), so Gia FaceTimed me and measured everything after closing to find some wiggle room in the furniture, which was there! The remainder of the day after leaving, zero buyer's remorse, and after sleeping on it, still zero buyer's remorse. Gia and everybody at Bassett's Sterling store took great care of us! If you can, work with Gia; she truly cares about her customers.
We ordered a custom upholstered couch approx 6 months ago. Gia was very helpful in the selection process, and was helpful when our couch was delivered with the incorrect arms that we had not selected. She arranged for that couch to stay at our home (we had already gotten rid of our previous one) while we waited for our new, correct couch to be made & delivered. We've had the new couch for several months now & overall, we're really disappointed with it. The cushions are CONSTANTLY sliding out of place & needing rearrangement - like multiple times a day. It's so annoying. Additionally, we paid extra for deep seats & added down cushioning, and we are dealing with feathers poking us & coming out of the cushions. Prior to this, we had a 500 couch from Belfort that lasted 10 years and never caused any issues. I guess we have learned a very expensive (2700!!) lesson - just because you're paying a lot more does not mean you're getting something better. Would not recommend Bassett - go somewhere cheaper & save yourself the headache.
