Fast & effective service with great use of Technology to handle the reservation. Kudos to Budget. The shuttle was easy to use (5 minute ride). For those coming from outside the US, take some time to read & ask about the use of e-tolls & ways to get to DC from Dulles & where to fuel up when dropping the car to make sure your enjoy your rental.

A male receptionist at the front desk of this company was very bad. I originally rented a regular 7-seater. He first suggested that he can switch it to an off-road vehicle. It was snowing/raining. So I agreed to consider it. And even walked out in the cold rain to check his recommending cars. But I was not fully convinced to switch, because the following days are expected to be dry. When I returned to his desk, I tentatively told him to switch car, then he said it would require extra money. My rent was for seven days and I was not prepared to rate change. I was not happy that he didn’t tell me about rate change upfront. I declined. When my bill was ready to sign, I noticed price became higher than original online booking, so I started to ask, but he forcibly interrupted before I could finish my question. Very annoying service attitude! My question at that time was very simple. The first is why the cost of a day is different from what I booked online. The second question is that I don't need to order insurance, because I already bought insurance online. After this experience, I felt that I would definitely tell people around me not to rent a car at such a company!
Bad Service, Person at the airport location was clueless and when i called customer service to resolve my issue with Toll Charges, they are even worse. They dont understand anything you say, its like you talking to wall. English was very bad. You say one thing and they keep repeating something that i have no clue what they talking about. I was complaining about Toll and person on phone was asking how was the experience with car. No idea where we heading with outsource
Customer service needs work. Massive language barrier. Under-staffed, slow, and inattentive to customer needs. Picture this; l called the 1 800 number to confirm rental reservations. I had to ask the rep two times to repeat herself. And l still couldn't understand her. I arrive at the car rental location and there were five people in line, and two employees. One was helping customers while the other one was sitting staring into space. I was second in line and people in front of me at the counter were trying to figure out how to pay for the rental...and oh yeah, periodically the man sitting down would slowly get up and try to wave a bird out the building who was trapped inside and then slowly go sit back down. Budget Rent-A-Car, The Dulles Airport experience assures me never to rent from your business again. Customer service is everything! Don't you know this!
Actually they deserve more than 5 stars. The front desk staff was so nice and friendly. His name was Muhammad. The car itself was in great shape. It was almost brand new. Strongly recommended.
