Training was extremely unprofessional not to mention confusing as hell. Lost a piece of my life wasted on this place. Time I’ll never get back , not to mention the unprofessionalism of the Trainer... complete joke. Xx

I’ve never been in such an unprofessional work environment until I started at Focus. I’ve been off work for a week on Doctors request, and I had Noah (my bf) bring in my doctors notes. I had called in every day I was scheduled to assure them I couldn’t come in. I received a call from one of the coaches, and he told me he lost my doctors notes so he needed me to fax them. So I called my doctor and had them fax it as soon as I got off the phone... I go into work today and they tell me I’m terminated because they didn’t receive any documentation from me or my doctor. I then called my doctors office and they said they sent out the faxed doctors notes. When I get home I get a call from someone I never even spoke with a Focus before saying she did receive those doctors notes and would have my issue fixed. Then 2 hours go by and I get a call from another coach and she tells me I was supposed to receive verbal warnings before my termination.. and there’s nothing they can do. The whole time I was gone I didn’t receive one phone call from them nor did I get any physical verbal warning when I went there to grab my check this past Friday. I receive a text from a coworker stating there was a rumor I had another job lined up which is why they fired me.. ? I’m seriously disappointed.. from what I hear this isn’t the first bogus thing they’ve pulled. Smh.
It was hard to work there when you are being screamed at constantly by either customers, or management, or even fellow staff. Worked there monday to friday from 9 to 5:30, my supervisor was only there 3 of the days and from 6am to 2pm. Was fired for long hold time, and low save when we are RETENTION MOVERS. They treat their workers like they are replaceable pieces of office equipment instead of actual people. To the two supervisors i had that actually treated me like a human being, thank you.
They genuinely try to make it a fun place to work, which had to be hard to because it is a very stressful job. Not all calls are horrible, though, but it isn't a job everybody can handle. You'll get 4 weeks of training and it's incredibly comprehensive as long as you're willing to take notes and participate! Coaches seem to speak kind of thin because it can be a very hectic environment with numerous agents needing assistance on calls. Most agents are friendly and pleasant to train with. If you're considering applying: You need to pass a background check. There will be a drug test on day one, be ready for it. There are benefits, health insurance, dental, vision. There IS a 401K, but Focus doesn't match your contributions. Training is 100% attendance. (they'll allow you like one day of being late or needing to go home early, two if you're lucky) As long as you participate in class and take notes you'll be fine. Training is PAID. 10.00 an hour. As long as you do your job and follow your call flow and make at least 1 offer per call you'll do just fine.... There are certain exceptions where you don't need to offer depending on the department you're in.
Worst place I’ve ever worked in, they don’t care at all about their employees, training was a joke I’d rather work a factory job then ever go back to focus
