GreenBrilliance installed a solar array on our home in Washington, DC on a very tight timeline, so that we could qualify for the Federal solar discount before it dropped at the end of the year. (As assurance for us, they further guaranteed to cover the Federal discount themselves if the job could not be completed in time.) The team was also very accommodating of our input on the design of the array itself, as well as our request to locate the inverter and other equipment in a concealed location (even though it required more work for their electrician). The entire process was efficient, and we are very pleased to have the system up and running!

I became a GreenBrilliance customer in 2010. Communication was excellent, and we came to a final contract agreement via e-mail. We needed to have the roof re-done before having the photo-voltaic panels and hot water system installed. GB coordinated beautifully with (plug here) Douglas Roofing to make the project happen seamlessly. In 2013, we decided to build a shed and increase our total number of PV panels to 26. GB responded quickly and added the additional panels at a fair price. When squirrels did some serious damage to our system wiring (twice), GB responded quickly and installed stainless steel screening to prevent further rodent damage. We now pay nothing for gas or electricity, because our bills for both are offset by the Solar Renewable Energy Credits (SRECs) we earn. In fact, since 2013, we are ahead over 1500 in energy costs. The company has always been quickly responsive to our needs and requests, including assisting with our elementary school solar education program in Sterling, VA. I would highly recommend GreenBrilliance
Green Brilliance did an excellent job installing my solar panel project. They were timely, professional, courteous and respectful of my time. Raj, the QA Engineer did a thorough quality check upon completion of the project. I highly recommend them.
The install of my solar panels completed with no issues. Raj came over today to review the installation from yesterday. He performed his Quality Assurance tasks and everything looks good. Thanks!
After 6 months of delays, Green Brilliance installed solar panels on my flat roof in March. On June 1st, I went up on the roof and noticed that the roof penetrations were not flashed, and had large cross-hatch cuts with no attempt to seal them. I also tightened some of the bolts but the ones on the south side of my roof just pulled out when I tried to tighten them (I used very little force). It eventually become clear to me that GreenBrilliance doesn't know how to do flashing so I'm working with a different roofer to solve that part, but I've been trying to get them to fix the bolts for several months now. Their installers initially came out on June 20th and agreed with me that the bolts needed to be replaced, but then they left and never returned. On August 26th, a different person came to fix the problem but just applied epoxy to the nuts to prevent them from spinning instead of fixing the bolts. At this point, I'm just getting someone else to fix it. I don't recommend working with GreenBrilliance, but if you do: - Ensure your roofer is involved at every step of the process (and I mean physically present during the install) - Check any bolts and other aspects of the system before they leave - Hope you never need them to come back, because they probably won't EDIT: GreenBrilliance finally removed the improperly installed solar panels on January 7th, although they refused to provide any sort of refund. I'm in the process of selling the panels, but also found out that they installed 285W panels instead of 290W panels. I'm not even surprised anymore.
