If you get a chance - catch the review I wrote on Motown’s website for feedback also, they are worth writing 2 reviews. Shane is the quintessential service guy - prompt, professional, efficient & informed - plus, he was a nice guy! He was patient listening to my questions, answered in a no nonsense way. I would not bother calling any other company. I am confident I was told the truth about the extent of the problem and did not feel pressured to take any next step that I was not prepared for. I’m sure that if I had called some handyman to look at the fireplace, I would have spent 2x as much having someone else come out to fix it again. I believe it is absolutely worth the money to hire a professional. Motown made me feel comfortable that I won’t blow up the house now! Again, Shane’ the guy’s name - you’re lucky if you get him, (although I’m sure everyone else there is just as cool!). And... he was bit by his last appointment’s dog! Showed up without complaining! Good for you Shane!

Absolutely amazing customer service! Their installers Shane and Dylan were not only punctual, wore masks and came with tarps to ensure our home stayed clean, but also installed our fireplace in excellence. Lastly, in the process of making sure the gas line was clean, they tweaked our other gas fireplace to guarantee a good flow throughout the gas line. You will not be disappointed!
All I can say is wow! Outstanding customer Service! Professional and knowledgeable technicians and great pricing! I couldn’t be happier with my gas log insert!
Shane and Dylan are true professionals! They kept us apprised of their arrival time, and came right on schedule. They had a good plan for installing our three new gas inserts, including connecting one new gas line. They were very neat, and proficient. They demonstrated the use of the systems from start up to shut off. We are so thankful to have the fire places up and running before Christmas. What a great addition to our home! We are very COZY!
Shane and Dylan were quick and installed everything professionally. They communicated well, and taught me how to use my equipment safely. My only negative comment is that one of them wore their masks below their nose the whole time and even took it off at one point to sniff for gas. I just think that it is a professional courtesy when you’re going into someone’s house you must wear a mask to keep you and the customer safe. Also, it would be nice if they didn’t wear shoes in the house either. One man took his shoes off and the one who wore the mask below his nose kept them on.
