I am a two time customer and Stoked makes the whole process painless. Something you might not think about - since the firewood has no bark, you get almost NO mess when bringing the wood inside of your house. For me, that was always one of the worst parts of burning wood since my den is carpeted. The other was wet wood but that's no longer a problem either, this stuff is extremely dry and 4 logs will burn overnight in my Lopi wood stove keeping things nice and toasty!
Incredible wood. We burn wood mainly for aesthetic purposes indoors in the winter time so went with the Ash. I admit I was skeptical of the boutique firewood but the difference was immediately clear even before burning it. It smells great stacked in our house. It ignites fast, yet burns slow and creates great big embers. Reminds me of campfires in the desert or at high altitudes where the wood is really dry. Great service and communication as well. Went out of their way to connect me with wood when I unexpectedly ran low. Locally sourced wood. A percentage of the money from your order is donated to the charity of your choice. I have been burning firewood since I was a kid and this is some of the best firewood you will find. It is kiln dried before delivery and burns hot and clean. We have burned through about 1/2 cord so far and have only just had to clean the fireplace of ash twice. It comes as mostly medium-large logs which are great for fires inside this time of year but there are enough of a mix of smaller logs to use for kindling to get things rolling. It is not cheap wood but it is well worth the price for the quality you receive.
They were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable on the phone. Ordering was easy online, and they delivered the next day. They have a great website. The wood seemed to be of high quality. The delivery person was friendly. We plan to continue using their service.
