A uncommon environment makes this place feel like you're in another land entirely. The trails are very nice, but be sure to get out onto the rock and slow down a bit. Look around at the types of plants and animals living in the small pockets of moisture and vegetation. Cacti, succulents, mosses, lichens, grasses and evergreens. Frogs are active year-round.

My husband and I love going to Arabia mountain. It has wonderful trails. I’m leaving this review to advise people to wear masks even if you’re hiking. You can still come into close contact with others. The day I’m leaving this we had to leave because there were massive groups of people hiking and not wearing any masks. Be safe everyone.

This is a good place to hike. Not too far from Atlanta but feels close to nature. The place is huge and has rocks all over. There are two lakes in two different sides of the rocks. Single day may not be enough to hike around all the trails. There are bike trails and off road walk trails. This may not be a place to picnic as it does not have enough picnic tables and ground area.

This is a really nice park in a former quarry. Very cool landscapes and a lot of fun to wander around. Not strenuous at all to hike.

This is a large area with a lot to explore. There are various parking areas, a small mountain to climb, a nicely paved pathway and boardwalk, an historic farm, a hidden historic grave of a woman from the 1800s, and a hidden lake that few Atlantans probably ever hike to, with remains of a quarry operation including a \jail.\ A sign says Arabia Mountain has it all, from desert to wetlands, and there are actually a fair amount of cacti on the huge swaths of open granite, as well as beautiful forest trails. You can spend many hours here exploring many types of nature and man-made oddities, but I reserve five star reviews for places with more amenities - facilities are relatively barren here.
