Since I’ve been a client in February 2020, the lawyer I did my consultation with did not become my actual lawyer. The lawyer I do have never returns my calls or emails. Ive had two different paralegals already. The paralegal gives me conflicting information based on what the lawyer has told me. Currently, I have been waiting since August 7 for a response about my case. I call or email at least once a week since then hoping for some type of response. Furthermore, every time I turn around they are trying to increase my monthly payments to amounts I cannot afford nor can they explain to me how or why they need to be increased. I do and provide them every thing they ask me in a timely manner and I expect the same. I understand the lawyers may be overloaded with work but to continually be ignored and have to wait weeks and months for a response is unacceptable. I am tempted to file a complaint with the American Bar Association because this ridiculous. I’ve known people who have used other Debt Stoppers locations with the same issue. I am so mad I ignored the precautions they gave me. I figured if I made my monthly payments and did as I was told there would be no issue.....WRONG. My father is actually a bankruptcy lawyer in a different state with different bankruptcy laws, but somehow he has helped me more than this company has. Just because it is affordable upfront, it is not worth the hassle dealing with this company.

Great company & great lawyers! The receptionist should be a little bit more Welcoming and Friendlier than I experienced on my first visit to this office, as she is representing the face of this company. She was very defensive and as if she wanted to be argumentative about an appointment mix up.

These people are so unprofessional. I had an appt in October of last year and was told to come back in 90 days, February 1st. I get to their office and no one is there. Haven't received a reminder or follow up call then when I call to reschedule I am told my appt was for the College Park office... huh? To make matters worse they already have 200 of my money. I wouldn't refer my worst enemy to these bums.
