My provider here was the best person ever. She left, though. The front desk on the other hand was rude and left me a scathing letter because I cancelled an appointment to attend my senior prom. That letter deeply affected my self esteem and I avoided getting treatment for a few years because I was worried about going to a practice where that would happen again.

They are AWFUL to deal with. They cannot hold onto providers so much that every 3 months we are switched to someone new. They just book you an appointment without actually talking to you about said apt then make you a no show when you had no idea of anything.
This place is fantastic! Highly recommended Stevie. Very professional and understanding. After having such a hard time with trying to find help , this place rocks!
I reached out to Abelard Psychotherapy a few months ago. I made an appointment with Dr. Heather Watson. Unfortunately, I ended having to reschedule (which I did two days in advance). The second time I arrived and had all of my paperwork filled out accordingly and was told by the receptionist to have a seat. After waiting about 45 min, Dr. Watson herself came to me and asked me for my name. She told me that I was supposed to wait in the other waiting room on the other side of the building and that she had another client to see. She didn't even bother asking me how I was doing or if I felt safe. Instead she told me I would have to reschedule. I walked out of there and told her I would think about it, as I was very upset with their lack of care and accommodation. I followed up and made a new appointment. I did not go as the more I thought about it the angrier I felt about what happened. Two days ago I called back to arrange an appointment with a new doctor. They told me I would hear back from Debbie to set something up. Debbie called me today and told me I would not be seen by anyone since I was a o show\ three times in a row. I didn't bother explaining to this woman as she would not have cared regardless. It seems as though this establishment mercilessly dismisses potential clients. I will take my business elsewhere. This place is horrible. I called 2x per week for 3 weeks trying to get an appointment. Finally got a call back and it was just to get my intake info. They then said they would have to call me back in a couple weeks for an appointment. Reluctantly I took that option, but they NEVER called me back. I reached back out to them after 2 months and they said they are behind and will have to call me back. All I wanted was to see a medication specialist. Don’t bother with this place
