Straight Out of Philly is a fantastic place. Best philly in Anchorage for sure, maybe Alaska! First time I visited I met the owner and had a great conversation. The place has an interesting story. Twice now I’ve visited and gotten an amazing sandwich, the mushroom philly - double meat. It’s got great flavor, soft and crunchy bread and melty cheese! What else could you ask for? Go visit this great family and their sub shop!

I moved up to AK from Michigan 3 years ago. I'm not impressed with Alaska food culture, but this place is top notch! THE best wings in the state. The way they fuse flavor into the chicken is magic. All made from scratch. When you think of hole in the wall spots that surprise, this is it. 6 Stars

Highly recommend this place to anyone. Their seasoning and preparation of the food is unbeatable. I've had their sandwiches- which are HUGE and incredibly filling; their wings are out of this world. Their desserts are tasty. Their appetizers are delicious. I could eat their wings daily. Try it all. Take your friends here. This is the place to eat. That's just the food part of it. The customer service is prompt, friendly and fast. Prices are great for the quality and amount of food you get.

This is a great restaurant. It's an Anchorage staple that's been around for years. Lots of variety even for the picky eater. Staff is very gracious. I love it.

We asked for the order and it was ready at the time they told us, the attention when we arrived was excellent and the dishes were super well done, with an exquisite flavor and good proportions, it is the first time I have bought here and I really recommend it, plus the ranch sauce phenomenal. I recommended 100%
