My wife and I cannot say enough about Studio C and Crystal Chang. Crystal has the ability to teach using various dance styles and methodologies from beginner to advanced level. She is very sensitive to the needs of each dance student, regardless of ability or innate talent, and works to find the best way to encourage each person. She is, without question a great dance teacher who believes in you, encourages you, cheers your successes, and helps you understand and correct your mistakes. Crystal is a gifted dancer and a wonderful teacher. My husband and I have been taking lessons from Crystal for a few years now. We had previously taken ballroom dance lessons at a Fred Astaire studio in Chicago where our goal was to learn to dance together. We ended up dancing and competing separately with our teachers. It is very challenging to teach couples to dance together. Your instructor has to be flexible enough to teach each of you taking into account your individual styles and dance levels and make you a team. Sometimes a teacher has to act as a referee! Crystal has helped us improve our dancing as a couple beyond our expectations and makes lessons fun and challenging.

Crystal does an outstanding job both as a person and as an instructor. She has a great amount of patience and always finds a way for me to understand what I am supposed to do. While I have been a little challenging at times she has never made me feel that I can’t do a move. On a scale of 1-10 this studio is a strong 10.

What a fun place! I am admittedly not much of a dancer, but was invited to a private Salsa Dancing class with some friends. It was so much fun and I really learned a lot. Crystal is a great teacher, and it was a great atmosphere and overall experience. I will definitely be back, and would highly recommend checking it out.
