Cool store. Went in looking for a high quality, good condition, used tripod at a decent price. Literally got exactly that within 2 minutes of speaking with Harry. Would have spent more than double for a new one and the condition is fantastic. This is definitely my new go-to camera supply shop.

THESE GUYS LOST ALL MY PHOTOS! Brought in a roll of 35mm film photos to be developed, and when I returned to pick them up the following week (I did not receive any phone call notifications or updates) the employees had no clue of their whereabouts. It was clearly disorganized and negligibly managed. The guy at Harry's refused to accept any responsibility and instead blamed the photo lab company they work with. When I asked to deal with this photo lab directly, he also said no. So essentially there was nothing that I could do. And on top of that, he asked me to describe the contents of what was photographed. When I explained that the photographs included many different settings and subjects, because they were taken over a period of several months, he said there was little that could be done (at this point he once again made an effort to save himself, trying to place the blame--of the mishandling of the photos--on me for not being able to provide him this information). That's it? That's the professional standard of tracking and organizing they practice? What about the tracking number that was assigned to my photos when I initially dropped them off? Evidently, even THAT succumbed to the shop's haphazard managing. I'd also note that, in dealing with this issue day after day, I was always told that they'd look into it and call me back immediately with updates. They never did. Just another example of responsibility avoided on their end. *Seems like Harry gets a kick out of arguing with his dissatisfied customers in the reviews section (\Sorry ma'am if you felt like you had a bad experience.\ -- one of his responses on Yelp LOL). This guy just reeks negligence and carelessness. Can't wait to see how he tries to repudiate mine! More disavowal I imagine.. *

I’ve been a satisfied customer of Valley Camera for about 20 years, dealing with videos, equipment, photos, and frames. Recently, a DVD and copy of same, made from a video tape I brought in, was far from okay. I took the original tape and DVD copy to a videographer to deal with. I went to Valley Camera for a refund, not knowing that their policy is to try the job again - to identify what might be wrong with their equipment, as well as to try to complete the order satisfactorily. The video was very important to me professionally, and I was unwilling to give them a second chance. They were amazing! They bent their policy and gave me my refund! That’s how you get a customer for life!

I dropped my camera and found it wasn't working. Went in and Harry looked at it and performed some \shaman magic\ over it, and - voila! - it worked!! When I asked how much, he said \Have a good day.\ I love places run by people who love what they do (it's obvious when you walk in there) and are knowledgeable craftsmen. \I'll be back.
