I’ve been a dedicated Suburban Disposal customer for the past ten years. After the birth of my daughter I was late on one payment, not a full billing cycle mind you, but a month or so late due to sleep deprivation and life happening. I received a second and final notice (though I never received a first notice) in the mail and immediately made my payment. When I called Suburban the next day to make sure my service wouldn’t be stopped, the representative informed me that I would owe an extra 35 due to the late payment! I asked them to waive these fees due to me having never missed a payment in the past ten years. They refused. I informed the woman that I would be cancelling service. She made no attempt to keep my business and simply responded, “When would you like your service to be cancelled?” Immediately was too soon. I took my business to Dependable Disposal where they charge 10 less per month. What a poor business decision to value 35 over continued service and a loyal customer. They’ve lost me for good and I’ve gotten my brother, parents, and neighbor to switch over to Dependable as well. Good riddance.

Hired Suburban to pick up my garbage when i moved to a new house in webster. Of the 8 wks i used their service, 6 or those i had to call them the day after my scheduled pickup day to tell them that no one came to get my recycling. Last week i had to call 3 times. They supposedly raised my concerns with a supervisor on more than one occasion who did absolutely nothing. The best part is they still charged me 100 for the 8 wks after they credited me a free week for their lack of service. Don’t use them unless you enjoy paying for a service that isn’t performed.

Anytime I have called the office staff has been extremely courteous. They go above and beyond to take care of their customers. I called just now and was able to schedule a special pick up for a mattress, they very responsive. I recommend their business.

We love Suburban Disposal!! They always pick up everything we have out. We switched from another company because they would not always take all our items. If you have a bulk item, you can call customer service and they will schedule a separate pickup. But a lot of times, they are able to get it on the truck. The guys are friendly and smile and wave! Thank you for your hard work!
