Very interesting work environment, I work for a contractor,
like
directions - Off of 291 Hwy, turn West onto N Courtney Road at stop light. Take an immediate Right onto outer road. Take 1st left through gates. Sign reads Talon, raw material deliveries. Scale house is located on left hand side (#6) This is a one way scale, go past and make a U-Turn. Scale tickets are located in the gray mailbox in front of scale house. Driver must fill out scale ticket. Scale digital read out on side of scale house. After scaling, pull off scale, make a U-Turn, follow road to stop sign, turn left. Go up steep hill, take next left located at the top of the hill. Take an immediate right go under conveyor belt follow road curving left to back of building (#5). Dock is located on the left indicated by 2 yellow bumpers. After unloaded, weigh empty, place top copy of completed scale ticket in mailbox.
Love the out of way place.
People are nice but be prepared to get dirty... And then add a truck / trailer wash to your day, inside and out.
It's a cement Plant. Not open for the public but if you need truck loads of cement powder than this is the place for you. Safety PPE must be worn here.
