I love this place!! 40 per night and a step back in time. I hope this place never changes. Very animal friendly and they don’t turn turn over your personal information to the police every night like Motel 6; Snitches get stitches...stay at the Sundowner.

Great value for the price Staff are great, friendly and helpful, I enjoyed talking with Tara about general topics Comfy beds and clean rooms - they cover the basics well They welcome our dog Roxanne, and my smoking other half Dave - so they're open to my entire family in ways that's surprisingly hard out in cow country, several motels in town don't allow pets, and one has no smoking on the property Bonuses, in room coffee and HBO - yay We've been staying at the Sundowner off and on for 6 years, and watched how the owners have worked hard to bring a classic little motel back to life. I look forward to seeing more and better improvements next time we stay here

While you get what you pay for, it's not too bad here. It would be nice if they replaced all the water damage with new wood. And actually had outlets available to charge your phone in. Water was only medium warm. Bed wasn't bad, shower survivable. It was a pleasant surprise to have a coffee maker, fridge and microwave. Just not enough outlets to plug them all in.

Nice little motel reminds me of the old days. They give you a real key to open the door not one of 6tgghise credit cards that are only good for one entry then you need a new key

I arrived at the motel around 1 a.m. I rang the bell didn’t hear or see anyone so I rang it again then I hear I am coming god damn it. I could not believe how rude the man was. Then I get to the room and the carpet was gross, the shower knob was broken but worked the room smelled of mildew. I realize it was only 43 but I think they need to update and clean better. The attitude of the desk person was disturbing

Customer service was awesome! For what you pay which is half of what everyone else is asking its well worth it after a long drive.We're a family of 3 with 2 service dogs and the front desk made us feel welcome, unlike other motels in the area. Yeah floors are a little old and tired but nothing horrible, the rest of the room is very clean. If you're looking for something simple it's a great place!
