For the Mediterranean food- this is the best placed. They have such a good separate counter and service for vegetarian items. Their pita bread is so fresh and delicious. They are also generous in giving sauces/ dips. Already been there 3 times and planning to go there soon! Must try for Mediterranean food in Bay Area!

Falafel stop is one of those hidden gems that you happen to come across when driving through unknown areas. This family owned restaurant is well known throughout Sunnyvale and is the go to place if you are looking for something different when hunger strikes. The classic hummus plate with its freshly chopped vegetables and pita bread is the trademark of falafel stop. If you're a meat lover, then falafel stop has your back too. Imagine the same pita bread stuffed with lamb or chicken that is roasted and seasoned perfectly with all the trimmings. The wait times vary between the time of day, but rest assured that you will be rewarded for your patience when you taste the freshness. If you are daring you can ask for the spicy version of your plates, it's spicy but not overwhelmingly spicy, you'll still be able to distinguish the flavor of each ingredient. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away from the norm of casual takeout and experience something special.

Overall very flavorful and good portion size for the price! Not sure if I was supposed to get garlic sauce with it but it didn't come with any. The seasoning on the chicken wasn't traditional shawarma seasoning, as it had a lot of curry powder in there, but still tasty. The pita was hella soft and springy, which was great, however it had a noticeable yeast taste, meaning too much yeast was put into it.
