Josh is well respected in the local skate scene for his abilities on a board. But what really sets him apart is his ability to explain and demonstrate the fine motor skills necessary to skate with speed and confidence. I have been skating with my son for almost 10 years teaching him myself. Josh has been worked with my son for only 3 sessions so far and my son’s level progression has dramatically increased. Josh knows what my son is capable of even when he questions himself. I highly recommend anyone looking to improve on a board to book a session with Josh. It is money well spent.

Homeschool 2020 has been a new experience this year and we're so grateful for Josh and Jake for their skate lessons. My daughter worked with Josh this Fall and she had so much fun. She enjoyed the challenges of honing her old tricks and pushing outside her comfort zone to learn new techniques. Josh was attentive to her skillset and in six short weeks, she was cruising around Sunnyvale with confidence and smiles. Thank you!! :)

Josh had been great, so thankful I had found him. The kiddo was trying to learn tips and tricks from the videos but it had been a frustrating struggle. Josh, during the very first class, patiently corrected, smoothly guided and made the kid actually enjoy the experience of skateboarding! Josh helped my son to build confidence and skills with positive encouragement as well as teach general skate park rules and etiquette. Since I have to drive with the kid, I had been able to observe my kiddo's lessons but also generally observe the interactions Josh has with his students but also with parents and other skateboarders. Josh is well liked and respected, but the thing that strikes me most, Josh is always helping others, he is very aware what is going on at the park and if someone struggles in the skill, falls, etc., Josh is always there to extend his help and advise. Highly recommended!

I have been taking lessons with josh for about a year now, I assure you, you will have a great time while progressing at a very fast rate! He is very nice and supportive. Just last year, I could barely do any basics and now I am confident in skating both transition and street! He has taught me so much!
