My Golden-doodle puppy was out of control and a friend recommended Rick and K9 training academy. We sent our puppy when he was 15 weeks for basic obedience training. We couldn’t be happier with the training! He came back so well behaved. Now we can take him pretty much anywhere. Rick does great work and our dog now has a better social life because of it. Thank you!!!

I started my puppy Maddie at 10 weeks of age with The K9 Training Academy puppy classes. These classes were a terrific avenue for socializing Casey with other dogs and learning basic obedience skills. The trainers were extremely knowledgeable, positive, supportive and helpful. Following puppy training I signed up for Individual training sessions and then started group classes. Maddie is now 7 months of age and doing great! I highly recommend taking your puppy or dog through this training - you will not be disappointed!!
I would highly recommend the K9 training academy. Our nationwide escape artist “Gypsy” a 3 year old extremely stubborn diva pit bull was the biggest mission I think the crew at the academy ever had to deal with! Trust me, we had little hope that the pattern and behavior could ever be improved. We thought we were just stuck dealing with it, but the academy proved that even the worst case possible, there’s always correction and providing that to Gypsy was the greatest gift to our family, and our Gypsy. Thank you guys, she’s a different dog entirely now surrounded by love and remains loyal and obedient.
I found this academy when desperately searching for help with my 140lb rottweiler. He had started to show signs of aggression and with his size, it became a huge cause for concern. I felt at ease from the first telephone call with Richard. He explained that any dog can be trained and assured me that although other places had turned down my dog, he was confident that he could train him. I dropped him off that same weekend. I followed them on social media for updates and was able to see his progress. Today I picked up my dog after around a 30 to 40 day training academy. I was blown away by how relaxed and happy my dog looked and how he interacted with the handler. I felt like it was a different dog. Both handlers spoke to me for hours and ran me through what I needed to know and implement for guaranteed success. I feel like I absolutely made the right choice and I feel confident that my dog is happier and more disciplined. This company was incredibly professional and helpful. Best of all, they guarantee their training for life by offering me assistance via phone or in person if needed. I will definitely recommend you call for a consult!!
Definitely a great place to get a trained dog or get your dog trained. We have had 2 experiences with The K9 Training Academy and both have been very good. We bought a puppy Giant Schnauzer from them which we later had trained by them and she is an absolute charm to my family. im looking forward to doing more business with The k9 Training academy.
