My kids, 9 and 11, were up for an adrenaline pumping adventure and Wiley E. Waters delivered. Our family of 4 spent a great day on the Clark Fork River with Aaron. From the moment we arrived, Nora was friendly and communicative. The whole operation ran smoothly. Lunch was a decent sandwich picnic, and they were prepared for my vegetarian husband. And the river! Breathtakingly beautiful scenery, class III and one class IV rapids, bald eagles, mink, and mountain flora. Aaron read his audience well - tales of the huckleberry rocks, giving the kids a chance to ride the raft like a bull, and letting them float down the river built memories for a lifetime.
Our group of 20 with ages ranging from 5-76 had a blast! We filled three boats, our guides Lilly, Lindsey, and Noah were amazing! We felt safe and loved the adventure! The guides interacted with our group with fun and a sense of humor. They allowed/encouraged each boat to water fight, try and jump to other boats to dunk others, ride the boat like a bull, spin doughnuts to throw someone off the boat, or just sit and take in the scenery. Group favorites were the cliff diving and definitely the thrill of the Rapids! I would strongly recommend Wiley E Waters to everyone!
I highly recommend Wiley E. Waters for a fantastic and fun day of rafting! We had 2 groups of six and all of us had a blast. And better yet, nobody fell out, LOL. Our guide was fun, friendly and very knowledgeable. The lunch provided was delicious and there was enough for everybody. They even consider vegetarian options and food allergies with advanced notice. We will definitely use them again.
Holy cow was this a fun time! I don’t think we stopped laughing until we got back into our cars. Our guide kept the conversation light and fun with great jokes too. The equipment was very well maintained or new, which was a nice change from other trips we have taken with other companies in Oregon. Our trips leader was very thorough when giving us a safety briefing. The guide for our boat was very informative about the safest way to seat in the boat and made everyone feel at ease the whole trip with his obvious experience on this river. This trip exceeded our expectation from the pre-trip email to an outstanding riverside lunch and cold drinks awaiting us at the bus. Can’t say enough great things about this awesome crew of guides.
