This is a great place to learn surfing. I signed my 9-year old twins up for a semi-private lesson. The school provided wetsuits and instructors and a really great experience. Each kid had an instructor. Both instructors were patient, helpful and made sure the kids had a lot of fun. The lessons started at the shop where the kids learned how to get up on the surf board and some basic safety rules. We then headed to Pleasure Point where they started by riding tandem with their instructors. By the end of their lesson, both kids were standing up on their own! The entire lesson was fun and safe. Both kids can't wait to go back. I would highly recommend getting lessons here.

Instructor is nice and patient, nice spot for surfing. For sure that the price looks a bit pricy, but the lesson is two hours instead of ninety minutes. I'm a beginner and I feel that I've improved a lot during the lesson. I will definitely come back soon.
This was such a marvelous experience, I have only taken a few classes before. My first time taking a private class and 100% worth it. I learned so much Big C made me feel so comfortable in the water and safe. Extremely patience and knowledgeable, perfect for beginners like myself. A must go spot if you are looking to learn how to surf. Great waves, great instructors, amazing vibes!!
My daughter and I had such a good time as first time surfers. The equipment was great and made our lesson really enjoyable. The instructor was really helpful and encouraging. We'll be back for more lessons.
Highly recommended. My wife and I took a class as complete newbies (never surfed before, never even wore wetsuits before), but with this lesson both of us were able to catch waves quickly. We both had a great time and plan to surf again. I could tell that our instructors are both extremely strong surfers (maybe even elite level), yet both were super helpful, understanding, and able to teach very effectively to total beginners. Thank you for sharing your sport with us!
