Really cool spot to take pictures and it has an especially great view of the sunset as it overlooks a \u003e180 degree view of the ocean and you can see the cliffs sloping up to either side of you. Definitely worth a quick stop to take a pic or several.

I have mixed feelings. Being from Southern California it’s a hard pill to swallow to have this monument here instead of Redondo, Huntington, or Manhattan beach. True is there’s enough love to go around and the monument looks awesome!
