I love helping people and I take great joy in helping others. Old Time Pottery is a beautiful place to work. The customer service is great. Yes it gets busy but each individual that works there does what they can for each customer. Being able to talk to people and deal with multiple attitudes takes patience and strength. Old Time Pottery makes sure that their customers leave out the store happy. Not everyone is happy and that's ok. But at the end of the day, Old Time Pottery employees can say that they did their best.

My girlfriend and I visited the Old Time Pottery, the Surfside Beach location, today. Our reasoning on coming in today was for a return, just a few items that didn't work for our setup. We got inside and went directly to the first register that had one guest in line and being taken care of. As we waited for their checkout to be complete, the associate named Marybeth let us know that other registers were open. Being that it looked like we were at the customer service desk (the one register with no assigned number) we stayed and gladly let the people behind us know that there were more open. After they walked away, Marybeth told us that \other registers do returns too\ and kept looking at us. We weren't going to leave being that we were next in line. My girlfriend asked if she was closed, and she told us o\. She made me feel uncomfortable (and honestly that she just didn't want to take care of the return) until I suggested us just go to another register. While walking over to another register, we overheard Marybeth trying to figure out who was covering her for her break to another associate... So, it definitely emphasized that she clearly didn't want to take care of us, as she continued to check other people out. We got to the other register and were greeted by Alexis, who was super sweet and quick to help us out with our return. She did a great job and I'm very happy to say at least she was able to make our aggravating time, a bit less stressful. Thank you Alexis for your help today! YOUR customer service skills were awesome and I hope that many of the employees there can learn from you.

Spring has sprung and it was time to head out and look and see what they have for great springtime items!! I picked up some gorgeous solar lanterns and a full length mirror for bedroom along with a couple of other decorative items for the house. It's always fun spending time walking the aisles here.
