I had surgery at the Capital Health Surgery Center today. Later that evening I vomited blood so my wife called the emergency line and spoke with “Dr. K”. He was very rude,not empathetic, condescending, disrespectful, and unprofessional when he spoke to her. He didn’t try to calm her down when she voiced her concerns and even laughed at her after tried answering his questions. Would not recommend this doctor. This place needs to improve its after hours patient care.

They will tell you to arrive at 6:45 a.m. and will make you sit in the waiting room for 2 to 3 hours before they call you back to the treatment area (no exaggeration). Considering how this is a SURGERY CENTER and many of the people come here are IN PAIN, they need a better system for managing patient arrival times and corresponding wait times. Take my advice and arrive 2 hours past the time they tell you. It will save you the hell of sitting in that awful waiting room for hours on end!
