Horrible ! The owner of this store will sell you a bill of goods. We booked our job 5 months in advance to put tile throughout my entire home. . The start date was etched in stone...first 4 days of the job, nobody showed up ...that’s just to begin with. The entire job was a mess! He also forgot to order my carpet and by the time it was time to put it in, the company couldn’t get it! The supervisor kid that was “supposed” to be in charge walked around complaining about the job and the store owner for weeks. We ended up finally getting someone who cared show up and all through this the owner of the store never once came by to apologize or check on the mess he created. Then when the poor kid (on his own) finished the job, he asked me to pay right now or he wasn’t gonna get paid. The owner had the audacity to tell the kid to get the money or no paycheck! I will NEVER NEVER NEVER use this company again, nor will I recommend them to anyone.

I had the baseboards in my whole house done as well as 2 bedrooms (one tile and one carpet) done by Surprise Flooring and Design. The wood plank tile I got looks superb and the installers were so quick- done in less than a day! The carpet looks great too and so soft and plush. I’d recommend going for a better grade carpet- - your feet will thank you. Overall great quality job and I’ll be a repeat customer when another room in my house needs and update!

Jim was very helpful and steered us to a carpet that was very reasonable and looks expensive. Ask for Jose to install! The man is fantastic with an eye for detail. I have never had a carpet installed that was done so professionally. It looks like a luxury hotel! So happy with our purchase. Will probably do the bedrooms next year.

Great service, selection and install. The owner really has an eye for whats hot and is fair with pricing. I will go back to them for my next project (master bath). UPDATE: we were fortunate to purchase a new home but the tile was not so nice. Jim to rescue ... fantastic work and delivered on time and on budget (who does that? Surprise Flooring & Design, that’s who).

We were very pleased with our experience with this company. It is a locally owned company and the owner consulted with us then came to measure personally. He has been in the flooring business for many years and he and his wife run the shop. Their reputation is on the line with each install. The young man, Kris Farrell who laid the carpet was very pleasant and a perfectionist.

Terrible company. They are the definition of OVER PROMISE/under deliver. Among many other issues, we made it very clear that it was important to us, that they would tear up the old flooring throughout the house and install tile under the fridge and stove. They agreed this would be done as part of the total cost. Once the installers began, it was very apparent they were not planning on doing the things we agreed upon. When we told them that what we wanted and expected, the installers had to call their "boss" to make sure it was okay because they had not planned on doing it. After that, they acted put out and upset the rest of the installation. The installation was done poorly, uneven, holes in grout, and took twice as long as promised. We spent extra money on the more pricier tile, after installation, noticed that many of the pieces had major flaws, cracks, and blemishes. I don't recommend this local company at all.

Great experience - start to finish. The sales lady was courteous and helpful, the price was within a few dollars of HD, and the install was perfect. I love the new carpet and highly recommend Surprise Flooring.
