Beautiful place anytime of year. Having to pay for parking is a bit pricey but one thing to note. Only from memorial day to November do you have to pay, per their website. So it is a nice place to visit in the winter. Posted two pictures of that. The summer/warm months are probably at its best IMO because you get a real nice view of the chasms. There are plenty of trails and as long as your dog is leashed there are no issues there. A place I'd reccommend to check when is most convenient for you

It's a great place to spend a few hours and parking is only 5 for in-state residents. Far too many people for my liking but once you get away from the chasm it really thins out. I do like that none of the areas around the chasm are restricted so you can explore everything that the chasm has to offer and climb around as much as you want. Take your time and watch your footing as it's easy to twist an ankle or slip and fall, especially in the fall with the leaves and pine needles covering the rocks and trails.

A very unique experience for the family. Nature's wonders are always worth seeing. Plan on spending a good portion of the day looking around. Bring some quality shoes.

Excellent experience. Very interesting to see what glaciers did to the area years and years ago. Parking is 5 for MA residents and the restrooms are still available. The chasm itself can be a walk, and I’d advise caution, boots, and patience. If it’s wet, the rocks are incredibly slippery. There are plenty of other trails in the park that take you to various points around the chasm.

Always love going here. Can't beat the views. Fresh air is the best. Especially now!!! Trails are marked well followed the yellow path some tough spots but a really good walk. Will definitely go again.
