I have been sending my daughter to sweet pea now since she turned 2.5! I cannot rave enough about this school, but what is most important to me is that they treat my child with love and nurture. She comes home every day telling me how much fun she had. EVERY DAY! She has made many friends. The environment breeds kindness. She never feels left out or made fun of. The parents are good people as well which says a lot about who my children are surrounded by. I can go on and on and on about how amazing this school is and the instructions but I have to tend to a crying baby now! You will be so happy with you decision if you go with Sweet Pea for you kiddo!

Sending your kiddo off to school can be hard for a parent to do, and it certainly caused me anxiety. I’m so grateful for the staff and teachers at Sweet Pea West Seattle, who have been patient and kind to my daughter as she adjusted and continues to adjust to spending her mornings away from home. She has formed attachments to people who have been loving and reassuring, making her feel safe. She’s also given the opportunity to learn new languages, as well as have fun enjoying favorite activities—singing and dancing! Seeing her creativity and imagination thrive is wonderful.
I cannot even begin to explain how much we love Sweet Pea! My 3 year old daughter loves going to Sweer Pea so much! School starts at 9am and days she has school she is ready, at the door, wanting to leave at 7:40 (we don’t leave until 8:40)! Every day she is excited to go! They have music class, dance class, yoga, art, Spanish, French.... the list goes on! We love their schedule and there is something new everyday! They study a different county, color and letter every month, with a different theme everyday! They serve a little snack and a lunch, all which looks incredible! The teachers are so loving, kind and wonderful! It’s has been such a joy to watch her and all that she is getting from the school. I cannot say enough good things about it!!!!
Our daughter Sally has been going to sweet pea for almost a full school year now. We love the teachers and how they treat the children with love and welcoming arms. She comes home each day truly happy. She has FUN at school and loves the kids and teachers. This is not a child factory- each child is well known, loved, and well cared for. We have gotten to know the other kids and families well. This school has something very special and unique. It’s an amazing place for children to thrive! I cannot say enoigh good things about Sweet Pea Cottage!
Both my son and daughter have attended Sweetpea in West Seattle over the past four years. We absolutely love this preschool!! So much fun with great teachers and community. I loved that you can start with one to two days and build up at an appropriate time for each individual child. Plus all the little extras like visiting dancers, reptile man and storytellers!
Preschool seems to come down to Vision and Staff. Sweet Pea has generous helpings of both. We loved Sweet Pea - our son attended for almost 3 years.
