2 years ago we had a blast at this pool...this year however I am very disappointed! The diving board is gone and while I agree with no rough play I don’t think they lifeguards understand the meaning of rough play. I was going under water and letting my son jump off of my hands and that isn’t even permitted. (No flips or anything just jumping) when I asked the lifeguard why since it didn’t seem like rough play to me she answered in a snide manner “because that’s why”. Obviously the residents are not fond of it anymore either because when we used to go frequently it was ALWAYS PACKED, this time there wasn’t even a quarter of the previous attendance!!!
This place needs to update their online hours. I’ve been here several times this summer and they aren’t even open. Overall the pool has declined and I hate to see that happen since there’s not much for young kids to do in this town. Take my advice and drive to Cushing, they have a much better city pool
The pool was clean. The visit was for a birthday party after hours so the pool wasn't packed. There was plenty of life guards.
It was way better before the YMCA took over management... Why did they take the diving boards out? Or the little slide in the baby pool? Stupid!
