Our party of 12 had an amazing experience at the Long Island Curling Club this past Sunday night. We were taught the basics of the game first, then led in some warmups, and then allowed to hit the ice where the instructors were patient and encouraging. It's a great outing for all ages!

I took a Learn to Curl class with them 3 years ago and I was immediately hooked, the instructors were great and very encouraging. I am now a member and it is great to be associated with such wonderful people.

Curling is an incredibly fun, deceptively strenuous sport - at first, you laugh at it, but once you start to understand how it works, it really pulls you in. Great team sport, and everyone of all ages and abilities can play. The LICC has limited ice time because the Sports Hub rink is primarily an arena for hockey/skating, so you need to visit the LICC website to see dates/times including leagues and intro sessions. The leagues are open to everyone from beginners up - they pair new players with experienced players, which is a great way to learn. The people are very welcoming, and extremely helpful for new players.
