At the time of our first session, Fiona, (my pure bred German Shephard puppy) was 9 weeks old. I didn't know how to entertain her while teaching her puppy lessons and stop her from biting me. Nicole's knowledge and skills are priceless. She gave me great ideas on toys for her and showed me the proper ways to train and play with her.

I will preface this by saying that I did NOT use this company’s services for the multiple reasons I will discuss below. First, I searched online for a board and train option for our dog, and this was one of the options I found. I sent an email requesting more information, and got a reply that her fee for consultation was 75 and these were the dates available. No mention of us having a conversation beforehand to see if this would be a good fit or for us to get an idea of what their training process was like, etc. Just bam, give me money. Okay ... but I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt and their website indicated that they could help with many of the issues I was having with our dog. I call and leave a message. She calls me back later that day, and I explain my questions. She asks me what my concerns are and I mention two of them, and she immediately begins criticizing everything I have been doing this far with my dog. Well, duh, lady, I know I’m obviously not doing things right here, that’s why I’m asking you for help. But her tone was condescending and abrasive to the point of disgust. She proceeds to lecture me about how incompetent and incorrect our attempts have been. And she asked me why I wanted a board and train program, and I explained that I needed help with laying the foundation and then assistance transitioning that responsibility back to us as dog owners with improved tools for us as owners to use moving forward. She basically tells me that I need to do the training in our house, that we would NOT be a good fit, that her time is valuable, and HANGS UP ON ME. I know that we need help training our dog, and I came to her for help. To be shamed and derided for asking for that help (and being more than willing to pay handsomely for that expertise), is unprofessional and unacceptable. Honestly, it was just down right mean.
