Amanda was amazing when I called in recently to pay my mom's bill. I have 30 years of customer service experience in banking and as a claims adjuster for home, auto and trucking. There are people who deserve to be recognized for outstanding service. Amanda's warmth, kindness and care for customers like myself was exemplary. It's not always easy to connect with customers over the phone - some people are just not good at it and should get additional training. That's obviously not the case for the office staff at Pierce County Waste Management based on my past experience. I hope that essential workers stay safe and healthy until the vaccine becomes available to the general public during this pandemic. God bless everyone at Pierce County Waste Management and Merry Christmas

Pierce County Refuse continues to provide horrible service. My yard waste is often not picked up and I have to call them to \solve\ the problem that they have never solved. Recently they did not fully empty the trash and refused to pick it up. In multiple situations they have asked me to go pick up extra trash bags and set them out to solve their mistake. Why should I be paying for extra items to set the trash out when I pay for a can. In December 2020 they accepted payment on 12/8 and did not credit it to my account. I had to pay again on 12/23. This is a terrible company and should not be entrusted to be the single provider of service in our community. My next step is to contact my state representative and regulators.
