Waiting times are long and reception at times can be terse. However, once you meet Dr. Kango you will understand why. She takes the time to really treat her patients and is highly knowledgeable. When we first met she was immediately alarmed and took all necessary steps, saving me in the process. Out of my abundance of medications she was able to correctly predict the dosage amounts and names. Is a godsend for me.

If I could give one star I would. I began seeing Dr. Kango after I got into a really bad car accident. Each time I visited her office she acted like the pain I was experiencing was all in my head. She sent me to physical therapy which made my pain worse. After a year of excruciating pain I had back xrays. Turns out I had two broken bones on my back. Even after this discovery Dr. Kango appeared dismissive of my care. She just wanted to prescribe narcotics which I refused to take. My entire experience with Dr. Kango was unpleasant. One of her nurses is extremely rude and argumentative. Even the office itself leaves a lot to be desired(appearance). I'm so glad I stopped going to Dr. Kango and found Dr. Wendy Wong. The difference in the two is like night and day. Save yourself some pain and frustration and find a doctor that really cares about his/her patients.

I wouldn't recommend. The wait was quite long as others have said. While waiting, a patient was repeatedly verbally abusive towards and old woman and her daughter when they asked if the woman could sit in the chair next to him. It was the only empty one left with some of his wife's things on it. He started repeatedly, loudly swearing at them, and anybody who asked him to calm down as well. The staff did absolutely nothing to resolve this, even when directly asked to. The literally did more to stop people from looking at their phones in the lobby. Another patient and I gave the woman and her daughter our chairs to end the shouting. I came in with a strange visual disturbance that looked like TV static over my vision (since diagnosed as Visual Snow). I also have back problems I was hoping to get a referral to start treating with physical therapy again. The doctor was much more interested in my weight, stated that my visual problems were probably due to my slightly elevated blood pressure reading, and told me to start exercising. My blood pressure is damaging my eyes, but no medication to address that immediately to avoid serious damage? No referral to an ophthalmologist, nor to physical therapy, or even a specialist to re-examine my back after the several years of lapsed treatment? I told her I was concerned I was losing my vision and the doctor told me to go to the gym. Now, I don't hold it against her that she wasn't able to diagnose what was wrong with my eyes. I went to an ophthalmologist myself who said my eyes were perfectly healthy aside from needing a slightly stronger glasses prescription. The doctor who ended up diagnosing me only knew about the condition because he'd seen one other person with it, less than a year earlier. The issue is that my medical concerns were assumed to be the fault of my weight. Well, I've lost 40 pounds this year and my vision's still distorted and my back still hurts.

Dr. Kango is the best doctor I’ve seen since my mother retired from General Practice about 20 years ago. Her office is busy because her patients know this too, so you have to anticipate a short wait. Be patient, she’s worth it.
