Absolutely love this place! The gentleman (Grant) that runs this place is very nice and patient! My daughter (5yr) loves coming and is super excited every time we come. He's wonderful with the kids and they always seem to have a great time!

I have been going to the Cheng Tai Chi morning class for approximately 6 months. Cifu Grant is an inspirational young man that not only demonstrates the forms in Tai Chi, but gets the class involved in looking at and learning about the theoretical/philosophical underpinnings of this martial art. He is also well aware of some physical limitations that us older folk ( I am 64)have, and always insist that we \enjoy getting there\ and not stress out. I have been involved in other martial arts in my life that seemed more of indoctrination events with a lot of aggressive physical hurt . Tai Chi is a beautiful art that has helped me with my balance and with my patience. If you are of the third age , or a parents of a small child I can recommend Darsana with absolutely no reservations! William Gerlach Pompano Beach, FL

I began taking this T’ai Chi class a little over a year ago. My goal was to improve my balance and to hopefully gain some body strength. I was a little skeptical that T’ai Chi would be able to help me because I thought that I needed to perform repetitive exercises or work out with weights to achieve any kind of improvement. I was wrong and I was excited to continue T’ai Chi after the first class. My instructor, Grant, is one of those rare individuals that cares about every person in the class and goes above-and-beyond to make sure our form and posture are comfortable and that each movement flows to the next. Grant takes the martial arts seriously and doesn’t expect us to mimic his actions like I’ve seen done in other class instructed work-outs. He encourages us to focus our minds and feel inside our bodies. After a class with Grant, I feel anxiety dissipate and I leave with a positive attitude. I am grateful to Grant who is patient and caring and has introduced me to this wonderful art. With much appreciation, Eileen B.

My son started training at Darsana 5 years ago. In that time, he has steadily progressed in his practice and has applied the things he has learned at Darsana to other parts of his life, which is very rewarding as a parent to witness first hand. My son's continued practice inspired me to return to the mat myself about 3 years ago, both in Tai Chi and Kung Fu. This gave me, among other benefits, the opportunity to work directly with my son and provides us with an ongoing and important bond between us. Darsana is a great training environment whether for children or adults.

It has been two years since I have been a student in Darsana Martial Arts. I went there hoping taichi could be something new I could learn. Since the beginning, I realized that taichi could offer me more than I expected. Amazingly, I had the security that the sensation of peacefulness and of freedom would get deeper and more rewarding with time. Taichi is not an easy task, as with any art, it needs patience, tenacity, and discipline, but Sifu Grant is an excellent Instructor, an experienced guide, and a genuine human being. He openly and sincerely shares with his students his own experiences with taichi, which gives his students more tools to become better “dancers”and to get the best of taichi. Slowly, Sifu Grant and Darsana are becoming part of my life and even my family. I recommend without hesitation Darsana Martial arts and its soul, Sifu Grant.
