Wait, so you condemn/ attack anyone with 1 star reviews that are based on a show and call them false... But you welcome any/ all 5 star reviews that people leave based on seeing a show and praise them. How does that work? Based on that alone I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Everything about it this place is shady

We had Kristen, Bridget, and Jeff as our guides. They were very friendly and made the experience educational yet enjoyable. They answered questions honestly and if they did not know the answer they did not pretend. As a whole Big Cat Rescue is so worth the money. You get a guided tour where you have a device and a fresh ear phone. When you pass by a rescue cat the guide will play a story through your ear phone so you understand what happened to and why the cat is now in a sanctuary. All of the habitats are large and truly enjoyable for the cats. This truly was an amazing experience that will touch your heart. They had said at the very end that if you call and read off the script (pictured) it is worth 100 signatures on a petition.

I know there is a lot of controversy going on about this place right now, but the animals seem to be well taken care of and I am so happy they have been rescued. There was a lion there that I absolutely fell in love with. We had a staring and blinking contest with each other, and I wish I could see him daily! The entire staff was very friendly and seemed to really care about the welfare of the animals. I would definitely recommend going!

In all honesty I haven't been here yet. But I've loved big cats forever and have wanted to come visit for awhile now. I've seen many of their videos on youtube. I have also watched the Netflix doc and my mind still hasn't changed. I find it very sad that people keep attacking this place. If people really care about animals there are other places to dislike, like wild things, sea world and roadside zoos, and circuses. Places where animals are actually mistreated and exploited, not a place that is trying to do good.

Big Cat Rescue is really great! They do amazing work there caring for big cats that would otherwise not have a safe place to live out their days. They are not a zoo, but an actual rescue. The cats always come first. Highly recommend a visit. You'll learn a lot.
