Shameful behavior exhibited to me on the phone by the female Sgt that runs the Will section. She has been in the military 13 years as she was quick to educate me but did not know what a surviving spouse is and demonstrated that by asking me if my husband retired. Yes, permanently by line of duty death on AD! Then she went into a diatribe about all the military IDs THEY have to know so you would think she would know what a permanent dependent of the DoD is and what it means when I say my husband died on active duty, not as a veteran. Instead I am supposed to furnish her with the correct ID document number from memory? That is your job to know the difference in status. Time for some education. Is this how you treat spouses of the fallen? Really nice. I've been trying to get a will there for years and calling twice a week for 3 months. It would make more sense to develop a wait list. This is the most ineffective way to make appointments. I think I have a better shot at the lottery.

This is the second week I've been trying to get an appointment for a will. 1st time called at 0802 and was in the cue for over 45 minutes, only to be told finally no appts left. This week, I got in the phone cue at 0801 and its now 0923, still on hold! Great system! This needs some serious attention to fix. Guess I'll go on with my day and try again next week.

Did not answer the phone. Been on hold for hours. Have been calling for the past two weeks. And I always get told to call back next week. I am stationed an hour away and drove today while still on hold. Walked in and no one was at the front desk so I hung up and called again and the phone just kept ringing. When someone finally came out the back I was told that the phones weren't working properly and it wasnt ringing but when I stood in the office and called. It rang. Not personable or customer friendly. From 0800 until 1430, I've been trying to get in contact with them. Horrible service

I have tried to call 2 days in a row and on hold for 3 hr 57 min first day and I held for 2 hrs 15 min today.. I don’t know what else to do. I called last week and was told I needed to call Monday feb 11th to make my father in law a Will appt but I can’t get thru to make it..he’s sick and needs this taken care of before it’s too late. He’s retired 25yrs Army. He needs this.
