Captain Jeff was an amazing instructor, my wife and I spend a full day on our new boat, we had very little experience, he took us through all the basics, practicing slow maneuvers, docking, anchoring, and most importantly building our confidence. What a great instructor he is, thanks to him my family can now enjoy our boat in a safe manner. Thanks captain Jeff, you have really made boating a great experience for us!!

Jake SV Harbour Lights

My wife and I had the good fortune to once again sail our Fountaine Pajot Lucia 40, Harbour Lights, South from Annapolis, MD to Port Canaveral, Florida with Captain Jeff Lewis, our second delivery trip with Captain Lewis. We sailed almost non-stop from Annapolis to Port Canaveral (only stopping for a 30 minute fuel stop near Cape Fear N.C.) and made the 835 track mile trip in a quick 5 1/5 days, beating the arrival of a strong south wind. My wife and I are partners in an LLC and charter our cattermaran Cruise Annapolis in summer and Cruise Abaco in the winter. Captain Lewis' exceptional seamanship, honed through 45 years of sailing, racing and delivery experience, kept the boat moving quickly and safely, and ahead of a front that would have delayed our arrival by 3 days and cost us a 10 day charter from FL to the Bahamas. When we told our insurance company and the owner of the Charter company who our delivery Captain was, they both said the same thing. "Captain Jeff Lewis....you're lucky to get him, he's the best there is." We couldn't agree more.

If you're looking for a great instructor and/or someone to help move your boat, I highly recommend Captain Jeff Lewis. He helped us move our boat from Fort Lauderdale to St. Pete, and we also hired him to come back and give us docking, sailing, and safety lessons. He is an amazing teacher!

We just arrived in Marsh Harbour Bahamas with Jim Deyo as Captain on our sailboat. We could not have been more pleased. Jim is knowledgable in all areas, extremely professional, a patient teacher, a very nice guy, and extremely interesting. His long tenure in the Coast Guard in both boats and aircraft has provided him with all of the technical and leadership skills that you would expect, not to mention lots of interesting stories! It was a wonderful experience and we highly recommend him. It was a great decision to hire him for this voyage.

I met Jeff during the sea trial, pre-purchasing of my boat. Since then I hired Jeff for 4 different long trips: 1) Tampa to Ft. Lauderdale 2) Ft. Lauderdale to New York 3,4) New York to St. Thomas USVI and back. Together we total over 4,500 nautical miles of blue water sailing. I learned so much from him about the boat, seamanship and sail trimming (Jeff was a competitive sailor). After the third trip I was asking myself if there would have been anything left for him to teach me. There was, and I am sure there would have been also for a fifth trip, but I decided that it was time for me to sail with my own crew. Now every time a "situation" occurs during a passage, before taking any action I'm asking myself what Jeff would do?
