Tandoor catered an event I was hosting for my sisters wedding. When I first glanced at his contract and pricing I thought it was a bit pricey....but then I had the delicious food...OH MY!!! This place really delivers. Nadir was punctual (Exactly on time). He brought a tandoor, chaat station, daal station, fresh lemonade, mango laasi, and all the delicious naans that could be made. He truly catered to my every need. Anything I could imagine having he made. My best friend, a professionally trained chef, said it was likely the best Indian food he’s had. I have gone to many catered events from some of the finest restaurants in the tri state. I would easily put him up there with the best!
I really wanted a go to place for Indian Chinese that was close by. Extremely oily food that didn’t taste very good. Maybe worth driving to oak tree road to get your Indo Chinese fix. Very disappointed.
The food was AMAZING! I was offered free Nan from Nadir Uncle, even though I did not order it. When I offered him a tip, he would not accept it. He was so polite and respectful. I have to say he treated me very well in the five minutes we spoke, and I will definitely be ordering from here more often. I encourage others to try their AMAZING food as well!!
My husband and I came here for Iftaar and they did not disappoint . The food was delicious , the service was even better . The owner was such a gem and brought out pakoras/bhajias for us to open our fast with . We got there like 6 minutes before it was time for Iftaar . The chefs and owner were so friendly and kind and my daughter loved playing with them from her high chair and talking to them . They were nice enough to give us complimentary appetizers and dessert .The owner also brought out some rice and yogurt for my daughter who devoured it and made a mess. The owner told making a mess was perfectly okay and she can make as much as she wants . We were so full and had leftovers which I can’t wait to enjoy tomorrow for Iftaar . We ordered a papri chaat, chicken karahi and chai . The chef made the chai with extra ginger and cardamon for me and it was the perfect end to our meal . We will be coming back to try their indo Chinese soon !
