This house is more like a train wreck. One of the microwave doesn’t heat properly. The toaster was broken. The refrigerator leaked huge puddles on the floor. The hot and cold faucets were switched on one of the bathrooms and one didn’t have cold. The tub faucet nearly falls off the wall when you try to turn on the shower water. Water leaked from said shower through to the downstairs when one of us took a shower. There were holes in the ceilings. The sofas were full of dust. There wasn’t enough flatware in the kitchen for our large group. There weren’t any dish towels in the kitchen. The propane was empty in the grill (the owner will reimburse us for this he said). The company who mows and weed whacks the property arrived at 8 am one morning. That’s too early on vacation. There aren’t enough outdoor trash cans for a large group. We had to take our trash to the dump twice while we were there, they charge for taking your trash. The couches in the back living room were very hard and uncomfortable. Many of the beds were terrible, the mattresses were very flat and uncomfortable. The pool was nice. We liked the open grass area and fire pit. The location of the house is ideal to downtown Tannersville, Kaaterskill Falls, restaurants, antique shopping, the grocery store and other fun things. The house could have been cleaner and maintained much better.
