My better half (?) has a Tar River Tiller TXG-050 and had a question concerning its maintenance. His question(s) were promptly answered with the information he needed. We also have a Tar River box blade. Both are worth having.

Have a 165 drum mower. The mower works great.....until you need parts. I am four...ish weeks out and still do not have a part that I need that HAS BEEN IN STOCK. Called numerous times and leave a message but no call back. I keep calling until I reach someone. I would recommend steering clear of Tar River and Belco. Go with a reputable name brand. This company does not seem to have good customer service in my opinion.
I purchased a fork lift attacment. It is built so cheaply that the metal frame bends with minimal use on a 65 hp tractor. The forks won't stay on it and have fallen off in the air and nearly killed me. The local distributor wouldn't stand behind the product and the manufacture didn't even return my email. Been trying since I purchased it.
The mini baler works great when it works. The problem we keep having is it seems no one seems to know how to adjust them or where to get parts. The manufacturers only seem to carry the baler and you are left to fend for yourself to find parts. The dealers are only concerned with the sale. Parts are no where to be found! Buyers beware.
Bought one of their tillers from a dealer and owned it a month before the pto shaft blew apart. Called the manufacturer and they referred me to the distributor and said if the distributor didn't take care of me call them back they would. The distributor to me to call the dealer and if they wouldn't take care of me to call them back and they would. The dealer automatically tried to say it was something I did wrong. So I called Tar River back and the understanding attitude changed to a well we can sell you one for x amount from when i first talked to them and they was saying it could have had a defect that caused it. After spending 1900 on a tiller and nobody wants to stand behind it I should have held off and bought a king kutter because this is the most stress I have had dealing with something that broke that I didn't cause. Seems like once the dealer got my money the customer service stopped there and the BS began. Now as you can see their response on how they think it happened just shows what kind of company they are. I have tons of experience using tillers and I know not to raise them high while they are running. I took the shaft to a local company and had it repaired and they said there was a defect in the area where the ujoint is connected. So you can put your foot in your mouth now MR. Owner.
