They can't tell you what you will have to pay even if you tell them exactly what you need. One shot is all I needed. They said you have to be seen first then they will bill you. Sounds like a way to really stick it to the clients. And they don't have any discounts for people without insurance. So for you are changing jobs or don't have insurance at the time I don't recommend coming here for treatment. Seems like its all about the money and not the people.

My 88 year old mother went for lab work this morning at the Tarboro Vidant Clinic. She had an appointment! She and at least 10 other elderly people were told to wait OUTSIDE in the heat! Many of the older people had canes and were in poor health. My mother was appalled and her heart broke for all the elderly people left to out in the heat. My aunt also had an appointment but due to serious health issues, she could not wait in the heat. My mother waited ONE hour to have her blood drawn. With the obvious need to socially distant, it should be apparent this clinic should NOT OVER SCHEDULE! You should be ashamed to treat your patients in this manner!! I hope you will take this as constructive criticism and make some changes. My mother is not a well paid hospital administrator but she knew you could have made accommodations such as seating people in the empty hallway she observed when she checked in and was sent outside to wait. Hoping and praying someone reads this review and makes some much needed changes! Karen Felton [email protected]
Never had a issue and also great services
The lab here is the best in the area. I have never liked needles, but don’t mind coming here for blood tests. They are kind, quick and as close to pain-free as you can get! I also have a great Internal Medicine provider who just doesn’t send me home with a prescription, but works with me to keep me healthy without using meds. I know that all providers are not perfect. I have been blessed as a patient here. Also, the front desk staff are polite.
Although the front desk staff is generally great, what brought this from a good review to a horrible one is one specific doctor. Growing up, my pediatrician was Dr. Ada Williams-Wooten. I voiced my concerns, but they were ignored as a child and throughout my adolescence. Many health concerns I voiced to her,I'm now having to deal with as an adult. Unfortunately,I did not have the choice in doctors growing up. My younger sister does, and I am finding a new pediatrician for her as soon as my family can. I have found her, even now being an adult,to be as dismissive, condescending, rude, and overall incompetent as a doctor. How can an otherwise nice place allow Physicians such as herself? I would recommend the clinic, but only if you can avoid this doctor. Unless it is an emergency, I would choose delayed care as opposed to hers.
