My husband and I stayed here for a week. We will definitely stay here again. Patrick is very nice and told us places to eat at and places to not eat at. No one messed with us or our vehicle. The room was supper clean. We had clean bedding and clean towels. My husband does sleep pass 6am when we stay at hotels but this one he slept pass 10am. I highly recommend this place. I hate that our vacation ends tomorrow. It's a home away from home for sure.

Great find in roadside lodging near Cumberland Gap Harry and his family are some of the nicest folks you'd ever hope to meet and have been running the Tazewell Motor Lodge in Tazewell, TN since day-one. This is a rare find in the form of a great old-school motor court. It's clean, comfortable and quaint with all of the basic comforts and enough modern, including a large wall mounted flat panel and excellent WiFi, to make for a great stay. You park right outside your door and get a for-real key to your room. Harry has a mentality of cheerful gratefulness to the community and to his customers that makes you want to pull up a chair and sit for awhile. There's a little noise from the highway out front, but it wasn't that heavily traveled and wasn't a problem for me. There are rooms available on the back side away from the highway as well.

Manager always goes out of his way to accommodate . Rooms are clean & smell good . Little on the old side but service more than makes up for it . The only place I will stay when in that area .

Good experience, drove from Utah and got here late but they got us in! Inexpensive, clerk was hospitable, room was clean. The towels aren't the softest, but I don't mind. Great little place.

Stayed in room 106. This place was really clean for the price. We stayed for two days this past weekend and enjoyed our stay. It stormed and flooded the entire time we were there but this motel is situated at the top of a hill so we had no problems. The young men working the front desk were very nice and helpful when we needed some extra towels. I must brag on how clean this motel is. I immediately checked for bedbugs and was pleased to come up empty handed. The bed was clean and stain free however, there was one small cigarette burn on the blanket. Despite that all the lennins smelled freshly washed and were comfortable. The bed was a bit stiff for my preference, but to me anything short of my old broken in mattress is. My boyfriend thought it was quite comfortable though. The air unit worked just fine, heating and cooling the room satisfactorily as my body temperature failed to regulate itself. The bethroom was a bit small, but very clean. It would benefit from moving the sink out of the bathroom and put it with the wall hair dryer. The decor was slightly dated and the carpet was fading. It was faded fairly evenly instead of in a path which I took to mean it had been throughly cleaned often enough to pill the dye from the carpet. For the price, I really have to recommend this place. The cleanliness alone makes it worth the money. The fact that the staff were minimally involved unless we needed them, at which point they were always helpful is added bonus.

My wife and orhers have stayed here quite a few times. Its not the Ritz Carleton or Hilton mind you, but its always been comfortable, clean, and accomadating. Not to mention easy to find and access. The manager is extremely friendly and is always a pleasure to speak with. The motel is safe ( you can actually leave your door unlocked and no one will ever bother you. My wife left her earrings in the room this morning when we left ( with no reservation for tonight but we didnt finish so needed the rooms again) called and they had the same rooms still available and her earrings in an envelope waiting on her. Its quite, peaceful, and if you like looooooong HOT showers like me, this is the place for you. The hot water is never out, its always as hot as you want it, and the showers are CLEAN!!! Anytime my wife and i are in the area or just myself we stay at the Tazwell Motor Lodge. Its not fancy and its a little dated with minor repairs that coykd be made but its comfortable, clean, and safe
