Having visited the east coast and being turned onto the Tea Guys by a relative, for Christmas my wife asked for their Earl Grey Tea with Bergamot, Vanilla, and Lavender. Shipping was fine, and the tea is fantastic, esp. as a cambric. Regardless, we will not be ordering from the Tea Guys again. Of the 5 boxes purchased, 3 were another type of tea, a fruity herbal tea of some kind, very distinct from the Earl Grey. The packets are quite different even, the Earl has tea strings attached and what seem like stronger bags, this other variety does not have a string and tag, and they tear very easily just from lightly handling them. Anyway, 60% of our order was the wrong tea. My wife emailed them about this, did not get a response, but we unexpectedly received 3 replacement boxes. 2 of 3 boxes (66%) were the same fruity herbal tea, so only one was actual Earl Grey. Keep in mind, all the boxes say Earl Grey, and this represents their attempt to make things right! Clearly they have some packaging issues. I rather they not ship two replacements because at this point we can expect 1 out of 3 boxes to be another variety of tea, and if they send 2, well, there is a good chance we will not get any Earl Grey, and then this review just gets worse. Great tea, shipping was prompt, but you only get a small portion of what you actually order.
Truly amazing experience with Tea Guys. I placed an order and their customer service was outstanding. They helped me with all my inquiries in a professional manner and speedy turn-around to my emails. And their teas are just divine. Cannot recommend enough!
