Great layout . Hidden gem. Good greens and fairways. An excellent 6800 yds of golf. Only take away is Hard to get cell phone connection. Make sure you handle what ever you need to before getting near the facility. Otherwise 4 1/2 stars maybe 5 when weather is warmer and the fairways are harder.

This is one of the most stunning courses in Southern California. The layout is amazing, the conditions are perfect, and the scenery is absolutely breathtaking. It's hard to capture it all in photos. If you're in LA or SD, don't hesitate to make the drive out here. This is truly a hidden gem.

I had fond memories of this place from 20 years ago. I used to love the course. I golfed there today and found it to be poorly maintained and a bit run down. Too bad, it is a beautiful setting for a golf course.

[Thursday October 29th]: An overall well-balanced golf course. The area is stunning, tranquil, and quiet. The greens are some of the best I've played in SoCal; They're very fast and well manicured. We had a 7am tee time, which this time of year is only mildly cold and the sun isn't quite up yet. Pace of play was very fast (not a single group in sight). Front 9 holes are beautiful, but the back nine needs some fairway work. The Bunkers only have a shallow soft layer on top. A few patches of brown in the fairway, but I never found myself in a bad lie. Very difficult greens, good greenside conditions, fairways are evenly cut and great in some areas, but need more work in others. Lots of wildlife in sight. Carts have old binary GPS, so you'll recieve a yardage booklet with the map and details of each hole there. For 54, I will definitely be returning for another challenging round.

I was set to play this course and was notified the day before my tee time that I was exposed to COVID I called the course and let them know the situation. I was still charged the green fees for my reserved tee time. I guess they didn’t want me to be responsible and stay away from their facility and employees . I was being responsible and doing my part to help stop the spread and I feel like this golf course is punishing me for being responsible and saving them the hassle of shutting down if an Out break was traced back the there facility. Don’t waste your time with this facility they don’t care about anything but money.
