About a few months ago, I was moving to a new house and a friend referred me to the “Ruff and Ready Moving” company to help me to move my furniture. I ended up hiring the Ruff and Ready Moving company to move a spa for me. Unfortunately, that was the worst decision I have ever made. The Ruff and Ready team damaged the spa which cost about 1000 to fix. The spa was about 6 months old, and it cost me 10000. Ruff and Ready charged me over 350 for the move. When they delivered the spa, there were damages all over and they dropped the spa very heavily on the concrete. I reported the damage to the owner, they only reimbursed me 200 while I had insurance of over 600 for the move. I believe that the Ruff and Ready staff was unprofessional and have no knowledge of how to move a spa. If you value your belonging, you should not hire the Ruff and Ready Company to move your furniture. As the name suggested they are ready to rough out your belongings.

The experience started off good with a quick estimate and availability. They showed up on time. Yet the day dragged on and for only moving 20 minutes away it was well after dark when they left. I had my husband start helping because I needed to get the kids into bed. From there the experience just got worse, we discovered boxes and boxes of things broken. Multiple platters, glasses , scratched furniture and the worst was our fridge door was broken. The handle was smashed in and made the door unusable. We paid for the insurance so we called about it and they said they would look into sending a repairman out. We waited and got busy with life and suddenly receive a check in the mail for 6. This was their valuation of the door on a 3000 fridge. I had to write a review so that other people are warned of this. At least do the due diligence in what you said when we called with the concern. Disappointing. Our stuff did get from point a to b, but the losses in between were not in my opinion worth it. Even the boxes we bought brand new were destroyed after the move and unusable for even storage in the garage. We had things in plastic boxes and even those were cracked.

Worst company ever broke things lost things I filed a claim on teak entertainment center that they broke leg on ,fire pit stuff missing, 2bedframes , a broken oak dresser ( they said fell apart )broken lamp a fan they broke at other house,all my solar outdoor yard decorations. They sent me a check for 149.22 . They lie and refuse to listen .. I watched all this stuff go on truck !!! Ask nothing comes off right till it gets where it is going ?? Oh no once it is on truck it stays on truck!!! Amanda at the office told me they found box of lawn decorations that were mine liars don’t ever use these guys they are worthless !!! They charged me 10397 to move me ! Also I am a widow to a vet.. Paul Ruff and John Ruff both lie !!!!!!

Worst experience ever. Amanda in the office is rude as all hell. They say the truck will arrive Friday, then Monday then Wednesday. The truck shows up Wednesday and the day laborers they hired are told to unload the truck until they find our stuff. An hour and half into unloading OTHER PEOPLES items from a terribly packed truck, we find out, the truck does not have our stuff on it. The driver drove through the night from California to Colorado and is dead tired. The laborers don’t want the liability of moving other people’s items. So we are without ALL of our stuff and we paid about 5000 for this move. Worst company ever!!!!! I should have listened to other folks when they said it was a terrible company.
