Sjvc definitely left a positive everlasting impression on me. I was a Clinical and Administrative Medical Assisting student and I have no regrets. I just completed my program here this past July and earned my AAS and I'm telling you that school changed my life for the best. I was a campus ( face to face) student and the hands-on training that you receive there is very beneficial to you. You have to take it serious though. All of the staff is there to help you and they WILL. If you don't understand something you have to communicate. They will go out of their way to make sure you grasp the concept and they make sure you are comfortable doing everything. Their financial aid office is fantastic, and the overall experience was great. I recommend that school to everybody. I give them a million stars. SJVC rocks

I am currently in my 2nd of 4 terms. I have never been to a school that communicates with their students to this degree. There is always an open line of communication with everyone in the program - including the director. I feel comfortable and at ease reaching out at all times of the day to the staff if I have any concerns and I always get a response. The level of instructional value far exceeds what I imagined. I am very happy with my experience at SJVC thus far.
So far the first term went pretty great. The teachers handled covid in a fast manner. Offering learning devices and equipment. They The teachers really want you to learn. All I had to do is put my work into program. This program is fast, each week is a new material and a new skill. Since the covid happen it has been a hybrid term. It will be lecture online then practice our skills in Lab. So far the library are closed which I usually go for silent. So I had to go an extra mile moving my studying sessions somewhere else. And the reading, I would suggest to start right away because sometimes it’s not possible to read it in a week before a new material. Also, start on the projects so won’t be left behind. If you really want to become a ST, you would have to make an effort and sacrifice time to be one.
I have been an employee for over two years. SJVC does it right. Outstanding dedication to student and graduate success.
