A very relaxing spot! Quite and cozy! This place must have been amazing back in its day, but the common area is run down and looks like it has not been updated in quite some time. Sorry to say this but the staff in the general store are VERY rude! Unfortunately they could be the cause of the run down atmosphere and uncaring attitude of the “resort” (I hesitate even saying “resort” because it’s far from a resort)! But on a positive note our camp spot was perfect! The camping areas are well kept, lots of trees and space for privacy. It was a very enjoyable camp out!

Stayed here for the weekend. Staff was very friendly, the store was awesome! So many gifts and all the things you needed if you forgot them. Mini golf and a train ride for the kids. Gorgeous views of the hills and saw some hot air balloons over the mountains!
The mountain bike trails are not part of Vail lake resort, but it's the only place to park. Really conveniently located, you can get in 24 hours a day, and you can ride as much as you want to! I'll be back for sure! The trails were amazing!
Spacious area. Some sites are closer together than I usually like, but overall this is a great campground. Bar, ice cream, general store, free mini golf & kids barrel train ride! Definitely will return and recommend
Very nice place! Loved the Golf Course. One concern was about our spot. It was smelling HORRIBLE. I got a headache and runny nose. Otherwise, beautiful and amazing trails there are!
Enjoyed our stay, very quite during the week, Friday filled up. Super nice staff Bring your mountain bike and hiking boots, there are some great trails. The park is set up for family activities, volleyball, mini golf, tetherball. We will be back soon
Beautiful & cold. Enjoyed the adventures this place has to offer. Nice hikes, bike trails & sites nicely spaced. Rustic nature separated from the city life. Nicely tucked away. Loved the fire rings too.
The rules on golf cart should be only adults and there should be a speed limit kids driving way to fast
