Absolutely terrible. ASU housing needs to get it together. Whether it is finances, help, or COVID 19 updates- they are not good with it at all. Had so much trouble fighting others for housing each year. I called the housing office for assistance, either didn’t help or dismissed me. They spam emails and write lengthy ones- no one has time to read 800 emails. Send 2 or 3 with crucial information and be timely with it. Lots of people stuck with unanswered questions or wrong answers. It’s way too confusing, step up your game.

Fit in or get out\ should be their motto. However, fitting in does cost extra and University fee is not included!

Housing and ASU have done a terrible job of keeping parents and students up to date regarding move-in changes and COVID requirements. They don't answer emails at all and the staff isn't trained with the up to date information. Please let me know who I complain to about this.

Wish I could rate 0 stars. My first semester I lived in Manzanita, my roommate moved out after 3 months so I was alone. Not soon after while I was sleeping (and underdressed) 4 adults unlocked my door and just walked in, saying that they were there to ‘inspect the room’. I felt extremely violated. And it was very embarrassing and scary. My second semester I was moved to a single room in Palo Verde East due to a disability accommodation. The people next to me blasted extremely loud music every day (which is explicitly against housing policy), to which I filed several complaints because I suffer from panic episodes which can be induced from loud and incessant noises. All they did was send some CA to tell them to stop, which they did and then proceeded to turn it right back on. And then I was basically told to deal with it. They then got busted for drugs a few weeks later and officers were called and my room as well as several of my neighbors’ were searched. And they were allowed to come back after just 3 days, and they carried on with their extremely loud music that made my walls shake like nothing happened \u003c3 I lived in extreme discomfort every day I lived here. Power and internet outages were very common. I’ve also been completely ignored by housing and have received very snarky remarks to legitimate questions I have asked them.

They gave me the wrong address to ship all of my belongings to while I was an incoming freshman from out of state. They were either lost or delivered to random businesses in other buildings and no one would agree to hold or collect them for me even though it was their fault. I had nothing to move in or use my first days or any help finding them in the coming weeks.
