I'd like to give them one star, but they did the job I asked them to. When I got the bike back I noticed my cyclometer sensor on the rear wheel was broken and not screwed on any longer. They did provide me tools so I could try to tighten it back up. One of my bike water cages had the plastic retention portion broken off of it. My front brake was not properly tightened. They tightened up the brake, after making a joke about that being how they get repeat business. If you need a 1 inch fork threaded, cut, and you have no other option come to Tempe bicycle. just make sure you inspect your equipment when you leave. Did they do the job? Yes. Was it affordable? Yes. Would I come back? No. Would I recommend? I'd recommend them for threading and cutting the fork, that's it. Receiving my bicycle with sensors out of place, brakes not ready, seat raised from where it was originally (by 6 inches), and a broken water cage makes me reluctant to return.

I got a flat on my new bike and decided to take both wheels in to get them fitted with heavy duty inner-tubes. My back tire was flat but the front wasn't. I took them both in because in my experience, the factory tubes are cheap and only last a month or two if you're lucky. I handed the wheels over the the mechanic and asked for both wheels to have heavy duty inner-tubes installed. Right then, it crossed my mind to ask for both of the old, cheap, factory tubes back, so I was sure they changed them both. The mechanic came back like three minutes later and charged me for two tubes. It seemed to me he changed the tubes on both wheels rather quickly and I was a bit suspicious if he changed them both - and no, he didn't bring back the old tubes. I decided not to be judgmental and just trust that the guy did his job. (He was an older guy, like in his 50's, so I thought I could trust him.) I didn't mention anything and paid and left. The bike survived two more rides and the front wheel got a flat. I pulled the tube out of the front wheel, and sure enough, it's an old, cheap factory tube. The mechanic charged me for two and only changed one. These tubes are not that expensive. What a cheap way for a business to save a little money. They just lost a customer that would have been a repeat customer.
I decided that I wanted to give bmx a try and was taken here. The environment was pretty relaxed. They're some of the best dudes that are genuinely concerned with their customers and not just their wallets. I will definitely be returning
Bought a really good bike for the money. Good customer service. Definitely recommend.
I bought a Phat Phixie here in May and have had too many flats to really enjoy riding it (i ride it to and from work almost 20 miles a day and I am 185lbs though) but every time i went in the guys there were super helpful and seemed very eager to keep me happy and riding. They continue to get my repeat business.
Told the guy working I had a flat and that I was short on time. Told me to bring the bike in and he'll fix it within 15. Helped me a ton. Good guy. Thank you.
I called them twice from North Phoenix and asked if they have any 19 inch bikes for women in stock, so I don't have to drive all the way to Tempe for nothing. They tell me they have "plenty" models to chose from for large size women bikes. So we arrive at their store and, what do you know - they actually don't have any large bikes for women. But I'm trying not to show my frustration and I ask them nicely to show me any large size bikes that might fit my wife. The 2 guys who were there looked LOST, as if they started working at the shop 2 hours earlier. The didn't know where the large bikes were in the shop, so they went bike by bike (just like a first time customer would) to find the size I was looking for. So we made a 60 miles round trip for nothing.
