Everything went fine until we got home and where they had installed the piping and panels was very visible and we weren't happy at all. We didn't get much help from calling the office but we did get help from our estimator, Rusty and the regional install supervisor, Fermine. They were at our house at 7:00 in the morning two days later and by the end of the day they had fixed everything. They were amazing!!

I never got to the point of installing a solar pool heating system with Heliocol West because I couldn't get nearly enough information from them from either a technical or cost perspective. The salesman \calculated\ the number of panels I would need for my system, but couldn't tell me what the expected temperature would be for my pool based on insolation and outside temperature. This seems like a very basic question. When I asked for more information, he told me that I already had it. I should also mention that the salesman, while nice, was completely disorganized and extremely slow to respond. It took him nine days after my request for further information to get back to me, at which point he texted me while thinking he was texting somebody else. He then had some excuses about car problems (!) and being too busy before informing me that I already had all the information he was prepared to give me, without ever addressing the fact that the basic question of what temperature I can expect my pool to be was never answered. Don't buy from this company unless you are able to get them to provide real information on how they are sizing your system.
We have had Heliocol for several years and enjoy being able to swim later in the year. Our electrical control box started shorting out, so I scheduled an appointment to have the box replaced. Due to a cancelation, I was able to get the appointment rather quickly. I received a call the day prior and was told the tech would arrive between 1:00 & 3:00pm. Great. After leaving work early to accommodate the appointment wasn't a big deal knowing I could go back to work after the repair. After 3:00 and no sign of tech, we called Heliocol to be told the tech was running behind, but would be here. At 4:45, still no tech and another call to Heliocol to be told the tech was definitely going to arrive but delayed due to longer repairs than expected. At 6:50, STILL NO TECH and ANOTHER call to Heliocol, I was apologized to, but the tech was on his way home!! Are you seriously kidding me???!! No calls from either the tech or the office. HELICOL, THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!! Maybe time lost from someone's paycheck isn't a big deal to this company. A very poor way of doing business and keeping customers satisfied. Maybe that's why there was a cancelation and I got my appointment so fast. Maybe someone else is as disgusted as I am.
While Ed the technician is wonderful but the service lady for Goodyear has been less then responsive.... she doesn’t return calls at all Ed was at our house 9/29/20 to repair a leak in our pipe. After he left our pool pump ran for 3 days straight and solar did not turn on. Each day I called and had to leave Kathy a voice mail.. one day I called 6 times and was the first call.... Each time she was either busy, on phone or told receptionist Ed the tech will call me, 3 days later no calls or anything.... I called on 4th day of no call backs and asked to speak with Kathy’s boss and was told they can not send my call to her boss Melody????? I’m beyond upset and I’m very concerned not about a huge electric increase in my electric bill.... I would advise anybody if you have a solar pump do not call Heliocol West their customer service sucks and if you can’t return a phone call to one of your customers that is not good at all
